U.S. Womens Hockey Olympic Silver-Medal winning Forward Jinelle Zaugg-Siergiej will be signing autographs at the Rockford IceHogs game.
The Rockford IceHogs will be honoring Rockford native and Silver Medalist with the U.S. Women's Hockey team, Jinelle Zaugg-Siergiej, when the team takes on the Chicago Wolves on Saturday at the Rockford MetroCentre.
Zaugg-Siergiej will drop the first puck at 7:05 p.m. and sign autographs from 6-7 p.m. and during the first intermission in the new concourse area.
A forward on Team USA's women's hockey team during the 2010 Winter Olympic games in Vancouver, she began skating as a young child on a frozen lake behind her Caledonia home. She moved with her family from Rockford to Eagle River, Wis. when she was six years old. After high school, she played for the University of Wisconsin for four years (2004-08).
