Billy Williams was the sweet swinging left fielder of the Cubs in the 1960's and early 70's before finishing his career with the Oakland A's in 1975 and 1976. Billy was inducted into baseball's hall of fame in 1987.

Meet former Bears offensive tackle Keith Van Horne at the Dominick's Foods (5523 North Sheridan in Chicago, IL) on Saturday, October 23rd from noon - 1:30 p.m. to! Van Horne played 13 seasons with the Bears after arriving as a first-round draft pick in 1981. He was a key member of an offensive line that helped the Bears lead the NFL in rushing for four straight seasons from 1983-86.

The Chicago Blackhawks and Illinois Secretary of State Jesse White will unveil a new Blackhawks permanent Illinois license plate. Hockey Hall of Famer and Blackhawks Ambassador Bobby Hull and three-time NHL All-Star Marty Turco will be on hand at the James R. Thompson Center when the license plate is made public.
Not only will the license plate allow Illinois drivers to show their support for the Blackhawks, but money raised from the plates supports public schools through the state. The Chicago Blackhawks are the first sports team to take advantage of a 2002 Illinois public act allowing the state's sports teams to have designated license plates.
